  • YIN

Yin Yoga is a deeply nourishing and introspective practice that invites you to explore stillness, relaxation, and self-reflection. During a Yin Yoga class, you'll engage in a series of slow-paced poses that are held for an extended period, typically ranging from 3 to 5 minutes. These longer holds allow for a gentle yet powerful stretching of the body's connective tissues, including tendons, ligaments, and fascia.

The focus of Yin Yoga is not on actively engaging the muscles or creating strength, but rather on surrendering into the poses and finding comfort and ease within them. Props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks may be used to support your body and help you settle deeper into the stretches.
